In 2020, after 30 years of providing Acadiana with the most innovate wound care with notable results to both the patient and to Opelousas General Health System, the partners of The Wound Treatment Center, LLC decided to branch out into consulting and formed The Wound Treatment Center Consulting, LLC.
The Wound Treatment Center Consulting, LLC provides a variety of consulting services. Our contracts are tailored to suit the needs of each client. We provide everything from partial to complete management oversight of wound care centers, physician staffing, telemedicine services, physician and staff education, administrative oversight, specialized marketing and advertising consulting, lecture services on a myriad of topics, access to clinical trials and research, and much more.
As of December 2021, we are providing management oversight, including physician staffing, telemedicine, education, administrative oversight of both clinical and billing matters, and a variety of specialized, targeted marketing in four additional hospitals/health systems in Louisiana. The Wound Treatment Center Consulting, LLC is led by two of the seven partners: Kerry T. Thibodeaux, MD FACS CWSP FAPWCA, Founder/Medical Director and Marcus Speyrer, RN CWS DAPWCA, Chief Executive Officer / Partner. Both Dr. Thibodeaux and Mr. Speyrer are internationally recognized as innovative, experienced wound care experts who are popular lecturers on national wound care speaker bureaus, sit on a variety of Advisory and Editorial Boards, and serve as consultants for national and international wound care companies.
